Craft Beer's Underrepresented Voices

The Film

Directed by 9-time EMMY® Award winner Aaron Hosé and produced by EMMY® Award nominated producer Brigitte Hosé, One Pint at a Time is a production of 2Hands20Fingers LLC. It is the first documentary feature to examine the struggles and triumphs of Black brewers and entrepreneurs in the American craft beer industry.

The Event

Maine’s 165 active breweries across over 100 brands lack a stark representation – not one is Black or Brown-owned. Nationwide, the craft beer industry’s $30+ billion revenue and nearly 10,000 breweries still see less than 1% Black ownership. This systemic underrepresentation demands change. Supporting the National Black Brewers Association (NB2A) and raising awareness can drive the industry towards an inclusive, equitable future where diversity thrives.
